I am trying to place the early Williams. In reading various postings I have noticed William Amazeen (b: 1758)(son of Ephraim and Abigail Jones) marrying Jenny Jones probably about l783/84. I also have a William Amazeen marrying Abigail Underwood on 1/10/1781. This was confirmed by Family Search and New Castle card catalog. This same Abigail Underwood Amazeen also appears to have married Hall Jackson Locke in 1801. Which would mean that her first husband - William had died.? This was confirmed by Family Search and Ancestry and notes mentioning that Hall Jackson Locke was caring for an Amazeen child who died about l804. One source called the child "Fanny" and the other called her "Abigail". I think I have too many Williams: One marrying Jenny Jones and another marrying Abigail Underwood about the same time. Were there two? Who were the parents of the other William?
