Catherine Ambrose & James Griffin, early 1800's, near Newcastle West in Limerick

Catherine Ambrose and James A. Griffin were grandparents of James A. Griffin (his parents were Thomas Griffin and Catherine Wolfe) who was born in Chicago in 1883 and served as Catholic bishop of Springfield, IL (1924 - 1948). I would like to find the following information about Catherine and George: dates of birth, birthplaces (probably near Newcastle West in County Limerick), and dates of death. I do not know if they themselves emigrated to the US or if it was their son. Also, I would appreciate any information about George Ambrose, Catherine's brother, such as dates and locations of birth and death.
