Philadelphia Amers in the 1800's
I am looking for info on a Frederick Amer who is listed in the Philadelphia 1830 census, born in Germany around 1785? Interested in his family members/children, I believe the wife's name was Ann, he does not appear in the 1840 census, but an Ann Amer does, so he may of passed away in the mid 1830's. I believe they had a daugther, Sarah born possibly 1835. Sarah is my G-G-grandmother who married a Jacob Fulmer, her death certificate lists her father as Frederick Amer. They lived in the Spring garden/North Mulberry ward section of Philadelphia and later the area that they lived became the 15th ward. Sarah Fulmer and her sister Ann Hart (both widows) are living together with their children in the 1880 census on West street. Any info on a Sarah Amer whould be appreciated.
I live in the Phila area and have a listing of Amers from city directories from 1845 to 1873 if anyone needs a lookup.
