Thank you so much! I really don't know how to pursue this search. Did you find the spelling of the names and the service record under bounty land warrents granted to them?
In other words are these names in a special bounty land file of applicants?
The spelling of the name has appeared on census records as Caton. Do you have a John Caton who received a land warrent?
