Pierce's Register NC RW Soldier

I have just located a GABRIEL GRICE, a NC Revolutionary War soldier, listed in Pierce's Register, certificate # 90781. No other information was provided--just name and cert. #.

How do I get more information on him? What kind of information is included on/in the certificate? Would it include information regarding his home county in NC and family? I am hopeful this new info. will help me crawl over my "brick wall."

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
