Checking to see if anybody is volunteering to look up a SC Soldier record for me?
James Barron, enlisted 4 Nov 1775 as a sgt in 1st Reg. under Capt. Thomas Lynch and Lt. under Capt. Jacob Barnett and Col Brandon from 12 May 1780 to 1 Mar 1781. ALso served under the Light Dragoons under Capt. Samual Martin, Lt. Col Polk and Gen. Sumpter.
I understand these records on in a book published by Bobby Gilmer Moss - South Carolina Patriots Roster,,,not sure of correct title of the publication - have found some copies on the web for $60-$65 - so thought someone may have handy access to the publication.
Thanks a bunch in advance to anyone who could help me out.
