Do you mean you are looking for evidence that a person by that name was at Ticonderoga, or that you are looking for genealogical data on a person for whom you have the evidence?

If you have the evidence it should tell you where (geographically) to look for genealogical data: Mohawk Valley, NY; Massachusetts; Vermont; lower Albany Co., NY; SE Pennsylvania.

Unless a pension application file exists, it is very difficult to prove that a particular person's life-path included the record reflected by a name on a list.

Good hunting,
Jade
