Yes, a lot of the websites don't have sources or if they do it would take research finding them for verification. Sometimes the submitter can be contacted but many times they have nothing more to add. I had one submitter provide me with documentation but that was a long time ago. I also provided documentation to another submitter--even mailed her death obits and other documents. That worked out pretty good. Specially since we were both researching the same family.
