"Cutchin" Involvement in the Revolutionary War

In researching the descendants of Samuel Cutchin/Scutchin, born 1683, Isle of Wight, VA., I have found the family originally came from Scotland, resided in the Isle of Wight, VA., and relocated to Edgecombe Co., NC. (most) I would like to gather military info - Revolutionary War, (1775-1783) - on this family. Does anyone know of info on the Cutchin family, from Isle of Wight Co., VA., or, the Cutchin family from Edgecombe Co., NC, and their participation in the Revolutionary War? Any info would be greatly welcomed.

Thanks, and God bless,
Barbara
