since this john ashmore has no pension record, you will have to write to the national archives for his bounty land warrant. this is of course is proof that he served in the rev.

ashmore, william, wf frances allen, widow's claim, 10851 married 26 dec 1818 jasper co. ga. soldier dies 1 nov 1842 henry co. ga. srv. lane's co. ga. mil.lived in henry and carroll co., ga.
