Surname Hunt at Valley Forge with Geo. Washington

A distant relative with surname Hunt, rode with George Washington at Valley Forge. I wonder if anyone has any idea about how I can learn more about this Hunt. He had a daughter named Abigail Hunt. Any suggestions. They were from NY State. Thanks, Charles McCutchen
