Thank you Geri.

I have two questions one Stephens father was
Name: John Winfrey
ALIA: John /Winfree/
Name: John Winfrey
Birth: 17 AUG 1728 in New Kent Co., VA., St. Peters Parish
Death: AFT 1800 in Adair Co., Ky
Event: 1800 John was listed on the 1800 Census of Adair Co., Ky
Wife: Mary Hughes (once married, Robert Walton, this is her second marriage.)
Is it possible he could be one of the John Winfrey's you mentioned. I am trying to join the SAR under Stephen's name but the only thing I was told mentioned him serving was this document,Auditor's Dept. Account Book X VIII, P. 532, I have yet to see it myself but untill I can I was wondering can I join if that is the only proof of service I have for Stephen. You are right I have yet found anything as well on stephen besideds that. Thanks in Advance.

Todd
