There are no Kains/Cains listed in the DAR Index as serving in the American Revolution. However, Elias P. Kain was a Civil War soldier and died of disease 5 Jul 1865 and is buried at the Chattanooga National Cemetery, TN, Section H, Site 10622.

Go to WorldConnect site and enter his name. There are quite a few entries from people who are descendants of Elias with letters that will interest you.
