I need the help of an expert on British pay policy and records

Hi, I learned in April that my 5th great grandfather was a Loyalist. Since that time I have been accumulating information about him and think that he was probably one of the POWs murdered after King's Mountain. From what I have been able to piece together, this seems most likely but I would like to check my reasoning and add to my knowledge.

Any help would be most appreciated,
