Amson family Cheshire 17/1800

Is anyone researching the Amson namne. My connection is through Sarah Amson who married my g.g.g.grandfather William Birtles in 1815 in Great Budworth, Cheshire. Sarah was 16 at the time of her marriage, at least according to the Census Returns.
Her mother was Martha Amson but have no idea of Father. Mother is on the 1841 census living with her daughter and is aged 65.
Grandpa Birtles ended up a cordwainer in Macclesfield Cheshire where he died in 1870 aged 79. According to the census they had several children; Peter born c1820, Mary Ann c 1826, Jane c 1828, Eliza c 1830, James c 1836, Thomas17 November 1837 (my g.g.grandpa born at 4.am./ does that mean he has a twin somewhere?) Elizabeth c 1840. I do not know whether Sarah Amson had any siblings. Anyone in cyberspace know?
Would love to hear
Anne Coates (Shropshire UK)
