I am recruiting
Portwood, Logston, Endicott and Gazaway
for genealogy DNA research.
So far I have been able to recruit only three Gasway, Gazzaway, gasaway
for DNA genealogy research.

What do you think is my problem in recruiting DNA participants?

In addition to DNA research, I am attempting to do conventionally genealogy research on all Wiilliam, Gasway, William Gasaway, William Gazaway, William Gassaway and all spelling variations.

I appreciate any info I can get, no matter how trivial.

I am especially interested in the following.

Who is the father of William Gazaway husband of Mary May Powell? Who is Mary Powel's parents?

. 1. William Gazaway m. Mary May Powell
. . 2. Joseph B. GAZAWAY 1824 Virginia m. Jane C. SPENCE (Spencer?) 1824
. . . 3. John Andrew GAZAWAY 1866 m. M. J. DUNHAM
. . . 3. Eliza Ellen GAZAWAY 1846 m. William J. PERRY
. . . 3. Nancy Ann Ruth GAZAWAY 1851
. . . 3. Ruth J. GAZAWAY 1854
. . . 3. John Andrew GAZAWAY 1866
. . . 3. Grafton Pierce Gazaway 1848 m. Sarah Jane Roach
