Hi Sally, Thank you so much for the information. It helps. So where did Ben Morris die? Was it Ellis Co.? You said he was buried there. What was his death date. Do you know his birth dates and where he was born in TN? I would like to know more about their children. I am doing research for my wife on her family. She is an Anderton. She is a distant relative to Cariann. My wife likes to read and hear about her family roots but does not care for the reseach part, which is fine with me, because I like to do the research.

Where was this 1870 census taken in which Ben has his new wife, Elizabeth?

If you are interested in any information on the Anderton(s), I would be glad to share with you. Ron
