I have just begun researching the Andertons of Moore Co. TN for my wife's cousins. I could very much use some help if possible. The family I'm starting from lived in Raysville just west of Tullahoma. Harold B. Anderton 1871-1960 and wife Arie Ray Anderton 1878-1956 are buried in the yard of the Baptist Church in Raysville. One of their children William Horace Anderton 1903-1998 m. Emeral Cecil Holt and lived in Nashville, working for General Shoe Co. (Emeral's Holt family was from Parrottsville in Cocke Co., no relation to the Holts I've seen in Moore Co.)If you can get me started and possibly tell me a little about the Anderton history, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks. Larry Cockerham in Nashville.
