My George Anderton was born in about 1851, according to the 1860 census of Marshall County, AL. In that census, he is found in the household of Wiley and Rebecca Anderton as their son, age 9. So is the Wiley who married Rebecca Wiley Sr. or Wiley Jr.? I stay confused about that! I think there was another Wiley, maybe an uncle to Wiley Sr.
Is Wiley Sr. son of John and Ruth (Blakely) Anderton? Thanks!
