Larry, what I was trying to tell you was that your John Washington Anderton could not be the sameJohn Washington as was the son of Wiley Washington Anderton (who was the civil war soldier who died of remit fever in Rock Island, Illinois confederate prison). Wiley Washington Anderton that died in Rock Island was not born until 1834, which by your census records would not have allowed him to father your John Washington, because there is only 4 yrs difference in their ages.
Remarkable too, that your JW Anderton should have named his children many of the same names that my g.grandfather JW Anderton named his. (As an example, my grandfather Emmett Anderton, who was born in Bedford Co. in 1895)
I may have not read some of your posts correctly, but I thought you were under the belief at one time that your Wiley or John Washington might be our Wiley Washington Anderton's son. Sorry if I added any confusion.
