Wiley Washington Anderton had 3 brothers and 2 sisters, the only brother named John, being John Kimbro Anderton b:1847, who married Millie Farris.
So what I am saying to answer your original post is that YES I can discount John Washington Anderton from being a sibling to Wiley Washington Anderton b: Jan 28, 1834

Have you checked the possibility that your John Washington might be a son to James Anderton & Caroline Fortner
or James Anderton & Martha Crabtree.
Both couples had sons named John, born in your timeframe. I am assuming that is a possibilty you are working on now, since you began the thread about Blout Co.AL.
