I don't actually have a personal dog in this hunt, so I'm not pushing any agenda at all. I believe from the several census records that there were in fact two John Washington Andertons because of the difference in wives names and the few years difference in ages which seem consistent in all the records. I have corresponded with Donnie on several occasions in the last few years. Most of this information in my file came from original document research by Carol Holt and myself. I've never been one to argue with a change, but I suspect the link from JOHN Washington Anderton to Harold Bias is good. I knew Harold's son Horace for several years. None of the current family members have been much help nor seem to have any knowledge of the generations prior to Harold Bias. Thus, what we have is from records.
