I am searching for information on my great great grandmother and her family.
Her name is Elizabeth Williams (we think the Williams is correct) She was born about 1840 - 1841 in Liverpool. She married William Thomas a Blacksmith from Llechylched, Anglesey. The story is as follows
Elizabeth and her family would visit Anglesey every year - the Treaddur Bay area near Holyhead- and this is where she met William. Her family were quite well to do from Liverpool and did not agree with the romance or the marriage. Elizabeth and her family drifted apart. We think William and Elizabeth married in Anglesey as her family did not attend. She never collected the money that was left to her so the money was put into trust until her or one of her family could claim it. It was claimed just before WW2 by one of their grandsons.
We know Elizabeth had a brother named Charles Napier who was a couple of years older than her. Her father is supposed to have worked for the Walker Museum in LIverpool. There was often talk that we were related to the Walker family but had been disowned due to Elizabeth but it seems that her father worked for them possibly as Managing Director.
In the 1881 Census they were living in Ty Newyd, Llanfaelog, Anglesey and William was still a Blacksmith. They had 6 children altogether:
CATHERINE THOMAS b1 FEB 1866 HOLYHEAD MARRIED JOHN WILLIAMS B 1872. CATHERINE DIED 1942 IN BANGOR, CAERNARFON

MARGARET THOMAS b 21 MAY 1877 LANFAELOG. DIED NOV 12 1935 PRESTATYN, NORTH WALES. MARRIED MORRIS
Is there anyone out there who may just have an idea of where Elizabeth was born or when or any of her family at all?
