Leroy was my great grandfather's brother. Leroy George Ankeny (b. 24 Aug 1889 in Dixon, IL - d. Sep 1961) married Effie Jane Debois (b. 9 Apr 1893 in Kansas - d. 3 Sep 1974 in Mower, MN). Their children are: Ethel, Stanley, Clement, Elvin (Bud), Marlan, Fenton and Alice Mae. Leroy's parents were Cyrus B. Ankeny and Margaret Mae (Maggie) Tice. Cyrus's parents were David Ankeny and Charlotte (Charlotta) Young. Maggie's parents were John Tice and Lydia (unknown last name). Hope this helps.
