Appenzellers of Bucks County PA
My ggggg grandfather (John Benner) in his will left an inheritance to his granddaughter, Eleanor Appenzeller. Eleanor is the daughter of Elizabeth (John's daughter) but no mention of the father in the will. Elizabeth was born in 1784 and it is possible that the child was born out of wedlock. There is a record at Indian Creek Reformed Church for a Henry Appelseller and Elizabeth Benner parents of Cornelia (b. 5 October 1801). There are also records for Jacob Appenzeller Jr., son of Ellener. And, finally, a death record for Eleanore Applezeller (64 yrs., 5 mos., 12 d.) from Tohickon Reformed Union Church on 3 June 1817. A Jacob Appleseller is also mentioned at Tohickon having died 10 Feb. 1805. From other records I have I believe Jacob and Eleanore were married. Somehow, all of this must be connected. Any help....Andy
