The Apple genealogy book has a Charles Barnabus Appel, the son of Barnabus Appel and his second wife Elizabeth J. Reid. Charles Barnabus was born 1 Nov 1863 and was still living in 1938-39 when the genealogy book was done.

Barnabus, son of Andrew and Elizabeth Appel, was born near Easton and his first 2 children were baptised in the Easton German Reformed Church. Then sometime before 1841, Andrew and his family went by wagon and on foot to Saegerstown. Were the Stems from Crawford County? That might explain the Apple migration.

I would very much like pictures of the graves. Thanks.
