thanks for your response. I really don't know whether it is county or city. My father always said his mother was named Donna Apple. She died before he was 7. We didn't know anthing about her. In my research I found Charles Lowther (my grandfather) was in Crossett, Ark on the 1910 census and it listed his wife as Donie Ozment and a son Marvin age 1 (my dad's brother). The next census in 1920 found my grandfather Charles listed as a widower with sons Marvin and Wesley (my dad). Since Charles had been married several I assumed Donie was his mother but now I am beginning to think grandpa may have married again between 1910 and 1914 when my dad was born and that his mother was Donna Apple as he said. I would like to find out something about the Apples and Donna. He said she was from Tenn. Any help would be appreciated. Luva Pendarvis
