I am interested in Dorothea Appel who married Peter Server and Mary Catherine Appel who married Christopher Shuck.

Margaret, daughter of Christopher and Mary Catherine Shuck, married Peter Server II and may have been the mother of my great, great grandmother, Anna Catherine Server Potter.

This is a mystery branch in my family tree. I just found the information about Margaret Shuck and Peter Server II by accident when I was researching the family of his second wife, Milly Seaton. In the !820 census for Harrison County, IN, Peter Sarver (sic) and a young woman lived next door to John Seaton, probably the father of Milly. Milly would have been the girl 10-16 years old in John's family. This clue led me to the Indiana marriage record where I found Peter Sarver and Margaret Shuck.

I'd like to know the relationship between Margaret's mother and mother-in-law. Were they sisters? I'd appreciate any information you have on their ancestors.
