My ancestor, William P. Davis, enlisted in the infantry, Confederate Army, in 1862, died two months later, in june, 1862, in Lauderdale Springs, Miss. I cannot find any info on him living in this area but he enlisted in Bradley Co. I suspect he was born in Tx. Appreciate any info on him. His military records had so little info and no personal data. Thanks for ANY info anyone might have however remote.
