We are looking for a John Abner Phillips who apparently left Calhoun County, AR to fight in the Civil War, dying (of disease?) in Virginia in 1863. He left a widow, Mary Petit or Pettit and two sons, William Lewis and Perry. That's about all we have, and would appreciate anything more!
