LAURA M. KING, SMEAD POWELL KING, NATHAN C. KING AND ELLA E. KING.....
all children of Thomas L. King and Martha A. Merritt of Calhoun County, are said (family stories) to have been
residents of the Arkansas Baptist Children's Home in Monticello following the deaths of their parents (1912-1914), Thomas L. King and Martha A. Merritt, of Calhoun County, AR.
I descend from James M. King, father of Thomas L. King, the father of the four children in question and am in the process of developing data on this KING family of early Calhoun County,Arkansas. Thomas L. King was an older brother of my grandfather, Arthur Edward King, born 1878 in Calhoun County, AR.
Would it be possible that anyone on this list could provide information on these four children, and of their parents? Dates of entry and departure from the Baptist Home would be most helpful. In addition, if you have actual
dates of the deaths of their parents, that would also be helpful. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated!!!!
