CUPP--BROOKS--TEATER Families

My GGrandmother Jennie Cupp Brooks married my GGrandfather Leander D. Teater on Nov. 13, 1888 in Tipton County TN. A second marriage for both. Her first husband was a Brooks and they had two children, George David born March 1882 and Bettie born Sept. 1885 (Bettie married Wm F. Billberry..see Calhoun County AR 1910 Census).

They are listed as Leander D. Teater and Jennie B. Teater in the 1900 Madison County TN census with their children and her Mother...Catherine Cupp

They are listed as L. E. Teater and J. B. Teater in the 1910 Calhoun County AR census with their children and her Mother....Catherine Cupp

I found the following information in the 1880 Hardeman County TN cenus and I thought this might be my "Jenny" and her first husband (Brooks).

1880 Hardeman County TN census:
George Cupp-- age 75...Head-- Widower...born TN
* S. C.------ age 50...Daughter....born TN
**B. Jane---- age 17...Grandaughter....born TN

*Could...S. C. Cupp also be Catherine Cupp?
**Could..B. Jane Cupp also be Jennie Cupp?

Also in same census living 9 families away:
W. G. Brooks--age 40...Head-- Widower...Born VA
Geniva------- age 3....Daughter
T. H. Holder--age 55...Mother-in-law

I found a marriage record in Hardeman County and I wondered if it might be the above B. Jane Cupp & W. G. Brooks.

William G. Brooks married E. J. M. Cupp....June 13, 1880

If anyone has information on the Teater, Cupp, Brooks line, I would like to exchange and share...Thank for your time in this matter....lth
