So glad to hear from someone else wondering about these fine people! John Anderson and a Rebecca Quillen were married in 1822 Sept 26 Lawrence County, IN. Thomas Anderson of same county, lists his children in his will and John and Rebecca are mentioned. I am nearly positive that this Thomas was the father of John as John and his brother shared land that adjoined each other in Putnam County, IN. John and Rebecca's marriage is found in a book by Goff, but is not found in the State Database (not everything can be found there). There are Quillen men that are listed in the census records living next to John and Rebecca in Indiana. The female you mentioned living with John and Rebecca is their granddaughter through their son, Henry.
I too wondered about those Walters folks, but could not tie in. I don't think they are ours, but who do they belong to?
There is more that leads me to believe Rebecca was a Quillen.
I descend through John and Rebecca's son, Henry Anderson and his wife, Elizabeth Miller.
