Mike: Thanks a lot for the response. Yes, I have posted Richard C Walker before with info from Pope County, Arkansas - he was on the 1880 census there, and, according to family was supposed to have died in Pope County, Arkansas - Dover. However, I have not been able to locate his gravesite there, nor have I found any tax info, etc. I was unaware of the land record being in Pope County. Someone had sent me an e-mail stating that a Richard C Walker had died in Carrol County, 19l4, however, family stated he died 1881, Dover, Pope County. My problem has been that there was a Richard W Walker married to a Mary R. and Richard C Walker married to a Mary R. I am trying to discern whether they are one and the same or not. Thank you, and, if you should locate any further info, I would appreciate it. Barbara Great granddaughter Notify Administrator about this message?
