Looking for information on the family of James & Rosa L. Ellis Fanning. They were married Dec. 31, 1891 in Carroll Co., Ark. He was 21 & she was 17. James was born May, 1870 and Rosy was born May, 1874.
Children: Clarence A. born Nov.,1893, Major B. born December, 1894, Floyd H. born July, 1898, Arlie G.born April, 1900, Nellie born ca. 1903, Garland born ca. 1905, Lillie born ca. 1909, Ollie born ca. 1911, Flossie born ca. 1913, Harvey born ca. 1915 & Hershal born ca. 1916.
The entire family was born in Arkansas.
Rosa possibly died around 1916/1917.
Ollie may have married Silas Martin and had a son Everett Martin b. ca. 1930. There is a James & Hurschel Fanning in their household in 1930 in Muskogee Co., Okla. Brewer Twp.
James is age 59 & Hurshel is age 13 they are listed as father in law & brother in law respectively to the household head - Silas Martin.
Major married (Flora)May Thompson on July 5, 1914. They lived in Carroll Co, Ark.
Floyd married Clemmie Hollon on June 4, 1921. They lived in Carroll Co., Ark.
Irlie (possibly Arlie) married Opal Minnick on August 21, 1921. All of these marriages were in Carroll Co.
Garland most likely married Elsie Unknown and moved to Muskogee Co., 1930 and had a son James A. born ca. 1928.
