I am looking for information on Gabriel Lee Bourland, son of Ebenezer Jackson Bourland, Jr. Gabriel was born in Franklin County, AL, in December 1830. He is listed in Missouri, Clark County, AR, age 19, in the 1850 census, in his Ebenezer's household. He was in the Clark County Artillery (Wiggins' Battery) Second Arkansas Light Artillery. I cannot positively find him in a later census. There is a G.L. Bourland in Beech Creek, AR, in 1860, wife is Harriet. And a Gabriel G. Borland in Beech Creek in 1870, wife is Mortha/Martha -- the middle initial in 1870 is written over, not clear. The ages are about right for him, but there are two different wives listed and the children don't match. Both men are born in Alabama. I would like any information on him. Marriage, children, death, etc. This is not the same Gabriel Lee Bourland, born in 1827, in Franklin County, AL, who settled in Oklahoma. The Bourland book has this one listed as Ebenezer's son, but this Gabriel is still living in Alabama in 1860, and served on the Union side in the 1st Alabama Calvary, Company B. Thank you.
