I am looking for the parents of Thomas Rushing. Thomas born about 1861 married Emma Coleman born about 1865 on December 28, 1881. They had three children Lizzie born about 1882, married a Crawford, John born about 1885, married Nettie Rhodes, Andrew born about 1887, married Emma Rhodes. Nettie and Emma are sisters. (There father name was Hedley, or Hedly Rhodes (no more information on Hedley Rhodes). Hedly had 2 other children also Flora and Willie, All four of these children was raised by they grandparents on their mother side of family. Don't know their mother name. Sam'l and Ollie Johnson raised these children.) Back to the Rushing's. Emma Coleman Rushing married a George Simonds,Simons, Simmons. They were from a community called Brooks of Cleveland Co. Their married Lic. are on filed at Rison. I found them on the 1900 census records. Unable to find any more information on my great-grandfather & great grandmother Thomas & Emma. Andrew & Emma Rushing are my grandparents.
