Hello. I may have already told you this. Was the family dark skinned for White people with olive complexions? If so just try reading the census for the county. With a name like that he had to fit with the set that came from Georgia after the Civil War. Try the Rison area back north toward Pine Bluff. I do not know the names of the places but I have seen plenty of Rodgers in the cemeteries in that area. My great great grandmother Adams was Rodgers.
