William Williams also appears in the 1860 Census for Crittenden County, with an extended family that (likely) includes the families of several of his widowed sisters. (1860 U.S. Census) ARKANSAS , CRITTENDEN, LUCAS TWP Series: M653 Roll: 40 Page: 805 This household structure is very complex, consisting of: William Williams, 45 M (b ~ 1815 KY), a wealthy farmer (RE 30,000; PE 18,000); Nannie Tollerson, 51 F (b ~ 1812 KY); Eliza Broadnax, 48 F (b ~ 1812 KY); Anna Broadnax, 21 F (b ~ 1839 TN); Margaret Tollerson, 21 F (b ~ 1839 Ark) [-?-] Tollerson, 19 M (b ~ 1841 Ark) Emmett Tollerson, 17 M (b ~ 1843 Ark); West Harris, 19 (b ~ 1841 TN), married in past year; Florence Harris, 21 F (B ~ 1839 Ark.). Rives-Harris-Tolleson Bible records state that one "West Harris" had married Mary Williams, and (another?) West Harris was born 15-Sep-1841 (the latter matches the 1860 Census record). Is "William Williams" an uncle of the younger West, b. ~ 1841? From "mug book" bio for Emmett Tollerson (http://www.couchgenweb.com/arkansas/crittenden/biog.htm): "Emmett B. Tolleson, a substantial planter and merchant of Lucas Township, whose postoffice is at Pinckney, is a native of this State, born at Helena, March 14, 1842, and is the son of William P. Tolleson... (William) was married in Helena in 1836 to Miss Nancy Elliot Williams (then the widow West) who was born in Lexington, Ky., in 1809." - so, I guess that the Williams, Tollersons & Harrises were all intermarried; but I don't know who the Broadnaxes are.
