I am seeking descendants of Robert Cooper
Hemphill and first wife Evalina Belmont
Cooper who were married on February 25,1833
in Maury County, Tn. After Evalina's death,
Robert Cooper married Mary E. Patten on April
6,1854. The family is shown in the 1870
census of Crittenden ,County, Ark. as
R.C. Hemphill 61, Mary E.40,William 33,
John,22, Mary E.19,Alexander 13,Elizabeth,10
all born in Tennessee.
