I am trying to determine the fate of Francis M. Bowden, b. abt 1830 in NC. He appears in the 1860 U.S. Census for Drew County, Arkansas, as a member of the Jesse Bowden household. Jesse was aged 46, and born in LA. The last record I have found relevant to Francis shows him to be in Company A, 26th Arkansas Infantry, at least up to April 1863. I appreciate any input or information.
