I hope you have found some of your answers. Benjamin Jackson is my Great Grandfather and we are fairly certain William is his brother. Yahoo has a Jackson Group and we go all the way back to the 1600's. I just joined DAR with Benjamin, his grandfather was Edward Jackson who was in the Revolutionary war. William is your ancestor and his father is Benjamin Franklin Sr. from Murray County GA. We cannot find William or Benjamin Jr. in the 1870's. I hope you can join the group on Yahoo. Your cousin Pat
