My grand father was Benjamin Franklin Hoover, born 25 Dec 1892, Hot Springs, Garland Cty, AR. I know nothing except the story that was told by my parents. He and his parents were traveling from Hot Springs into the Choctaw nation around 1895/1898 when there wagon turned over at Horse Shoe Bend, it is located south of Bethel, OK. Both his parents were killed and he was taken in bt the Jessie Snell family of Goodwater. He is listed there in the 1900 Indian Territory census. In 1938 he applied for a Social Secirity Number and Listed his father as Ben Henry Hoover and his mother as Josephine.
Is there any one researching these lines that can help me.
Thank You,
Lonnie Hoover
