I'm not sure this is the same Handlin family. Although it is a coincidence that there is another Eliza Handlin, some of the names and other info do not match. The Patrick I'm researching, (Great Uncle,) was born in August of 1889. This I know for certain through a 3rd cousin, (Great Granddaughter of Patrick). His sister Janie Ellen Handlin, born 1885, in Garland County is my Great Grandmother. On Arkansas prior births her Mother is listed as Eliza Tucker, (maiden name?). Janie had an older sister Mary Etta who was born in 1877 and even though they may have been the children from Frank's first marriage, the month and year of birth of the Patrick listed in Yell County, does not match my Patrick.
Janie is listed on the 1900 census for Conway County, living with older sister, Mary Etta, (Etter?) and with younger sister Allus. The census reports that their Father was born in Kentucky, Mother was born in Arkansas.
Do you show any Eliza Tuckers in Garland County on the 1880 census? Somehow I have to connect Janie Ellen and Mary Etta Handlin to Eliza Tucker and a "Handlin".
