Thanks for your reply. Itis nice to finally make contast with someone in this family. I don't have any information about this family except for what I remember my grandmother telling me and a box full of photos that belonged to Granny, very few of which I can identify. As I said, Granny was adopted by this family.

I don't know of the photo you spoke about, I didn't even know Amanda's maiden name until your post. I do however have her tambourine that she used during the time she worked with the Salvation Army in Hot Springs.

I will get out those old photos and see what I may have that you might be interested in. By the way, I live in Randolph county Arkansas. Hope to keep in touch and share information.
