William Williams early settler Hempstead County

Seeking information on William Williams who appears in Hempstead County as far back as 1819. Other than a Daniel Williams, he was the only Williams listed at that time.
He may have been the "Uncle Billy Williams" that Sam Williams mentioned in his book.
I believe he may be the father of James M. and Anthony Williams who were both born in the early 1820's in Hempstead Co. This James and Anthony appeared in the 1850 census in Hempstead Co. James and his family were enumerated in the 1860 census in Pike Co. Anthony moved to Davis/Cass Co. Texas and was found in the 1870 census.
I would appreciate any help.
Mary
