Does anyone know how I can get the 1840 Hempstead county census to see if my jones family was there yet ( coming from Cumberland Co. Kentucky). Does a copy even exist? I beleive they came here between 1830 and 1840 along with some other family members, Franklins and Harrisons. There were some the Jones children also born here in Hempstead County after 1830.
