Rev. Reginal Heber Murphy was probably born in Queens, NY where he was christened in 1835 at Zion Episcopal Church. He married Eliza G. Simmons from Lousiana on 25 November 1862 at Dooley's Ferry. They were married by M. Carter. I was looking for an Episcopal Church at Dooley's Ferry but cannot find one. Rev. Murphy moved to Maryland by 1880 and lived in Calvert and St. Mary's Counties where he served various Episcopal Churches. Is there an Episcopal Church near Dooley's Ferry that he may have served.
