I don't have any info about your relative but I do have an interesting article about life in Bingen (pronounced with a hard g). It is the only official "Ghost town" in Hempstead Co. THe article was written by Reuben Leslie who lived there as boy. Surprising to me the Rev. Rueben Leslie now deceased was my pastor when I was a teenager in Midland, Tx. I knew who he was from AR. but had no idea he was from a town close to where I was born and lived years later, Hope.
