Delaney by marty ramage of 843 I located the 1900 census with James and Ella, 1910-1930 census with James and Lou, if you don't have them. I also located what looks like the 1880 census for James with his parents. 1900 census lists his birth as February 1878, age 28 with 22 written on top of it. If you go by the age 28 his birth year would be 1871 not 1878. Also the Arkansas death Index 1914-1950 lists: John Tho. Delaney born est. 1871 age 78 died 10 Mar 1949 Howard County Vol# 14, Roll 1949, Certificate 2618,(if you're not familar with Arkansas Counties, Howard is next to Hempstead) You can always send off for the certificate to find more information.
